You can only read and write about anime for so long before you have to give in. First, there’s an itch in the back of your brain as you read a review you think doesn’t do justice to an anime you just watched. The itch becomes a whisper when you read the news about the latest DVD sales figures in Japan. The whisper gets more incessant as you read an interesting blog post about the latest episode of a new anime, and the whisper becomes a steady drone as you devour hours and hours of reading material on the history and culture of Japanese animation. The only sane thing to do is start a blog.
